This groundbreaking global forum brings international leaders together from all segments of biomedical research to consider the merits and limits of greater collaboration to meet the challenges of scientific discovery through animal research. 

Convening organizations are Americans for Medical Progress, Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, Canadians for Health Research, Coalition for Medical Progress, Foundation for Biomedical Research, Groupe Interprofessionnel de Réflexion et de Communication sur la Recherche, National Association for Biomedical Research, Pro Forschung, Research Defence Society, and Stichting Informatie Dierproeven - representing the US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and Canada.

Keynote speakers such asJames C. Greenwood, CEO of the US Biotechnology Industry Organization and former member of US Congress who chaired its major health committee, as well as other policymakers and experts from government, industry, academia, the media, patient organizations and non-profit institutions will address all participants in plenary sessions.
